City Lights Fall 2016 Juried Exhibition

Open to all original artwork completed by the submitting artists. Art cannot have taken a prize in a prior City Lights show. 150 pieces will be selected for exhibit from October 4-30.

Categories include Watercolor, Oil, Acrylic, Photography, Drawing/Pastel, and Other Media. Size limit is 1,100 sq. in. per piece with a maximum of 3 entries. Artwork must be framed and under clean plexiglass unless 16 x 20 or smaller (which can be under glass). Plexiglass is optional on canvas and hardboards. Gallery wrapped canvas with painted borders is acceptable. All paintings must have a backing board and be ready to hang with wire attached using D Rings (no hanging clips). A certificate of authenticity must be affixed to all accepted entries, and artists must sign a Hold Harmless Agreement when artwork is delivered.

Prizes: Best of Show $250, 1st Place $100 each category, 2nd Place $50 each category, 3rd Place $25 each category. Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $15 for 2nd and 3rd entries. Completed applications and JPG entries are due 9/19/2016. Notification of acceptance will be on 9/20 or 9/21. Accepted artwork must be physically delivered to City Lights Art Gallery, 3 E Army St, Henderson NV 89015 on 9/30 or 10/1/16. Reception and winners announcement on 10/8/16. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from the gallery and must provide a prepaid shipping label for return of unsold work after the exhibition closes on 10/30/16.
