Circles and Squares

Artists are invited to submit original artwork for the "Circles and Squares" exhibit at R Gallery in Boulder, Colorado. The show will run from December 8, 2020 through January 17, 2021 and is open to Colorado artists working in all mediums. Artwork should incorporate the shapes of circles and/or squares, either as literal representation or symbolic interpretation of these fundamental geometric shapes. All styles and mediums are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media.

Eligibility is limited to Colorado residents. All entries must be of original design and personal execution. Submissions should consist of 3-10 images. It is best to submit pieces less than 30" wide including frame or case; only a few spots are available for pieces up to 48" wide. The submission deadline is November 15, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Accepted works must arrive by December 6, 2020. Notification of acceptance will be sent November 19. Artists' reception has been cancelled due to COVID.

All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery will handle all sales and charge a 50% commission unless otherwise stated in proceeding agreements. R Gallery reserves the right to sell accepted works online during the exhibition. Work will be returned by January 30 unless otherwise agreed upon. A prepaid return label must be provided if sending work by carrier. R Gallery will send checks to artists for sales by the 15th of the month following the month in which the sale occurs.
