About This Call
The Cimarron National Works on Paper Exhibition is held at the Gardiner Gallery of Art in the Bartlett Center for the Visual Arts at Oklahoma State University, running August 16 – September 17, 2021. The exhibition features works on paper, including photography and paper-based multi-media work. The juror is Larissa Goldston, Director and co-owner of Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE), New York.
All artists residing in the United States are eligible to submit a total of three artwork entries. All work must be original and executed within the past three years. A nonrefundable entry fee of $30 must accompany the submission. A maximum of three digital images may be submitted through CaFÉ for judging. Images must be clearly labeled with artist's name, title, medium, and size. Please include a selected recent CV and artist statement along with your artwork submission. Accepted work that differs markedly from the digital image may be disqualified by the juror.
$2,000 will be available for purchase awards. Purchased work will be added to the permanent collection of the Department of Art, housed in the Oklahoma State University Museum of Art. Awards will be selected by the juror after the accepted work has been received. Framed work must be under plexiglass (no glass). Unframed work must be ready for hanging. Accepted work must be sent prepaid in sturdy, reusable crates or cartons and must be received by August 6, 2021. Accepted work will be returned via UPS. Oklahoma State University will pay up to $100 of return shipping costs, with the balance the responsibility of the artist. A catalog of the exhibition will be mailed to all those accepted. The Department of Art reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries for the catalog and publicity.
