CHROMA

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to CHROMA, an online exhibition celebrating color. The theme explores how color shapes perception and brings experiences to life, seeking to capture the vibrancy, intensity, richness, and depth of color from artists' perspectives.

Submissions must be received by Friday, December 6, 2024 at midnight MST. Accepted artists will be notified by Friday, January 3, 2025, and their work will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total submissions. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, additional detail shots do not require additional fees; send these by email to [email protected] after your first entry.

Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). All accepted pieces are displayed in the online gallery. The exhibition is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. Work must be original and not copied or created under instructor guidance. All fine art mediums are accepted (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, film/video, digital art), except AI-generated work. Diptychs and triptychs should be uploaded as a single image. This call is open to amateur and professional artists worldwide; work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits is not eligible. Artists retain 100% of sales. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to arts organizations and artist support initiatives.
