Christkindlmarkt Retailer Application 2026

Christkindlmarkt is a one-of-a-kind family event celebrating the holiday season in Bethlehem, PA, now in its 34th season. Twice recognized as one of the best holiday markets in the US by Travel & Leisure, the event attracted over 140,000 visitors during its six-week run in 2025. The event showcases juried artisans and craftspersons, along with retail and food vendors. In 2025, the event expanded to include a winter wonderland with dazzling holiday light displays, ice carving, glass blowing, and more. Guests shop in spacious, heated tents at the foot of the iconic Bethlehem Steel SteelStacks, with an outdoor village adorned with holiday lights and decor.

This application is for retailers (authorized dealers, resellers, or representatives selling products made by others). Booth options include: Full Festival - Willkommenhaus starting at $4,000; Full Festival - Hut in Outdoor Village at $3,200 per hut; Full Festival - Festhaus at $5,800 per space (10' x 20'); Full Festival - Courtyard at $2,300 per 10' x 10' space (tent not included). All pricing is based on a six-week event beginning November 13, 2026. Application fee is $27.00. Applicants must submit 6 images, including a required booth shot. The application deadline is May 3, 2026, with no late acceptances permitted. Vendors will be notified by May 29, 2025. The purchase deadline is June 12, 2026, and the event runs November 13 through December 20, 2026.

Selection criteria include vendor experience with large and outdoor events, distinct product lines at varied price points with clear branding, prior ArtsQuest participation, ability to operate within available resources (electrical and 10' x 10' space requirements), and ability to provide own equipment (tables, chairs, tents, weights, lights, gridwall, etc.). Applications are evaluated by a jury panel of 3 jurors using a Yes, No, or Maybe scoring scale. Approximately 250 applications are submitted annually, with an average of 150 selected to participate. Vendors may cancel at any time; full refunds of refundable fees are provided only if written cancellation notice is received within 14 days of acceptance. Deposits are non-refundable.
