Christkindlmarkt Artisan Application 2025

Opening its doors for the 33rd season, Christkindlmarkt is a one-of-a-kind family event that celebrates the spirit of the season in Bethlehem, PA. Twice recognized as one of the best holiday markets in the US by Travel & Leisure, this heart-warming holiday event welcomed over 128,000 guests over the six-week event run in 2024. The event features some of the nation's top juried artisans and craftspersons along with retail vendors, food vendors, and jolly old St. Nicholas himself. Guests will enjoy shopping the aisles in large, heated tents, nestled at the foot of the iconic Bethlehem Steel, as well as the outdoor village decorated with holiday lights and decor.

Artisans must be the designer/maker of ALL products they are selling and must be present at the event to represent and speak about their work. Medium categories include Bath & Body, Candles & Home Scents, Food Products (pre-packaged only), Graphics & Illustration, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Painting, Photography, Pottery, Textiles, and Woodworking. Applications require 6 images and a booth shot. The jury process involves 5 jurors scoring applications using a 1-5 scale, with approximately 150 artists selected from 250 applications annually.

Booth fees vary by session and location: Sessions 1-2 start at $375, Sessions 3-6 start at $460, Full Festival Glass Front spaces are $4,600 (10' x 20'), Full Festival Courtyard spaces are $1,820 per 10' x 10', and Full Festival Huts are $2,120. A deposit of $150 per 10' x 10' space per session is required upon acceptance. Once the application closes on May 2, 2025, late acceptances will not be permitted.
