About This Call
Children of Men 2023 is an international dual exhibition and publication opportunity open to all visual artists working in any medium worldwide. The call invites artistic interpretation of childhood experiences, including portraits of children, perspectives through children's eyes, societal challenges affecting children, hope and resilience, surreal and futuristic approaches, and abstract compositions capturing stories of children.
Selected artworks will be showcased in an international online juried group exhibition from August 20 to October 20, 2023, and published in The Book of Arts: Children. The online version of the publication will be available for free and promoted internationally to thousands of readers including experts, galleries, curators, and art enthusiasts. Selected artists will receive a digital exhibition catalogue, promotional badges, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition analytics and sales reports, a digital certificate, and a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform. Some artworks may be published in various magazines and books within the Biafarin art network.
Submission is free. Selected artists pay a USD 40 selection fee, which is covered by a money-back guarantee until the exhibition opening. Artists can submit up to 5 artworks, with a maximum of 2 selected per artist. All visual art styles and media are accepted, including painting, drawing, photography, digital art, sculpture, installation, and mixed media. Artworks must be original works created by the entrant.
