Cheyenne Arts and Music Festival

The Cheyenne Arts and Music Festival takes place September 10-14, 2019, in various downtown venues on weekdays and on historic 17th Street and Capitol Avenue in downtown Cheyenne on the weekend. The Festival is a production of Arts Cheyenne, with financial and logistics support from local sponsors and the Wyoming Arts Council.

The Festival features an outdoor, street setting for juried artists, a welcome reception for visual artists and patrons, a purchase awards program with more than $5,000 in guaranteed sales, five days of workshops, theatrical, performance and visual arts activities, hands-on art workshops for young people, and an Artisan Boulevard with food and beverages. Visual artists are eligible to apply with a $25 entry fee. Applicants must provide 4-6 images of creative work and 1 image of a typical artist exhibit space setup.

Accepted artists pay an exhibit space fee of $255 per 10x10' outdoor space. Artist sharing is allowed, up to two artists per exhibit space. No commission is taken on works sold. Artists are responsible for bringing their own canopies, display walls, tables, and chairs. Each artist is provided with an exhibitor sign listing the artist name, exhibit space number, medium, and hometown. Festival volunteers are available to assist with setup, breakdown, and load-out. Accepted artists will be notified by July 1, 2019, and exhibit space assignments will be made by July 19, 2019.
