About This Call
Experience and purchase authentic, original handmade artwork from Cherokee Nation artisans at this event during the 73rd annual Cherokee National Holiday. The Cherokee Artisan Marketplace takes place Saturday and Sunday, August 30th – August 31st on the grounds of the Cherokee National History Museum in downtown Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Art sales hours are 9AM - 3PM both days.
This market is exclusively for Cherokee Nation citizens selling Cherokee hand-crafted products. All items for sale must be original items of craft or artwork created by a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Mass-produced or commercially crafted items are not permitted. The application is free and requires 4 images plus a booth shot. Purchase deadline is July 18, 2025.
Vendors must provide their own transportation and equipment including tents, display tables, and chairs. All equipment and inventory must be removed by 5:00 p.m. on August 31st, 2025. Electrical outlets are available and quiet portable generators are allowed. Music should be played at low volume to avoid interfering with other vendors.
