Cherokee Art Market 2026

Visit Cherokee Nation presents the 21st annual Cherokee Art Market, October 9–11, 2026, at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa in Catoosa, Oklahoma. This fine art market is exclusively for artists who are Indigenous.

Artists must submit an application and be juried into the market annually. Cherokee National Treasures are exempt from the jury process. Applications open February 2, 2026, with a deadline of April 1, 2026 at 11:59 pm CDT. There is no application fee. Accepted artists will be notified by May 29, 2026 (returning artists) or June 15, 2026 (new artists). Payment deadline for all accepted artists is July 31, 2026, with an early payment discount ending June 30, 2026.

Applications require proof of enrollment in a federally recognized tribe, membership of an Alaskan Native Corporation, or recognized Indigenous Peoples status under Canadian law. Applicants must submit six images of recent work (created within the past two years) organized in two sets of three, plus a booth shot image showing how you set up your booth. A brief statement (1000 characters or less) describing materials and techniques is required. Images must meet specific technical requirements: 72–300 ppi resolution, minimum 1400 pixels on longest edge (1920 recommended), JPEG/JPG/TIF/TIFF/PNG/BMP format, under 5.0 MB file size, and RGB color space. Application types include Individual Artist, Co-Op Collective, Shared Artist Booth, and Co-op Business. Work submitted for jury review should reflect the style, medium, and quality of work you intend to present at the market. Artist check-in and setup occurs October 9, 2026, from 7 am–5 pm, with the market open October 10–12, 2026.
