About This Call
Chastain Park Spring Arts Festival is a juried, two-day outdoor fine arts festival held in Chastain Park, located in the heart of Buckhead in Atlanta. The festival features approximately 125 juried artists showcasing original fine art and fine craft, including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metal, leather, wood, and fiber. The festival is free and open to the public and draws a diverse mix of serious collectors, local residents, families, and returning patrons.
The park setting offers wide walking paths, mature trees, and a relaxed, upscale atmosphere. Additional elements include live acoustic entertainment, food vendors, and a family-friendly environment. Festival hours are Saturday 10:00 am-5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am-5:00 pm on May 9-10, 2026.
Artists must provide their own displays using white top tents of EZ UP quality or higher, all weighted. Load-in is Friday, May 8, 2026 from 12:00 pm-7:00 pm (or 9:00 am-4:00 pm if a concert is scheduled). Application deadline is April 8, 2026, with jury dates April 9-10 and notification of acceptance on April 10. Artists must accept invitations and purchase by April 23, 2026. All artwork must be original and handmade by the exhibitor, with original art occupying at least 50% of the artist's space. Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting sales taxes at the current rate of 8%. Free parking is available for both artists and festival guests. The festival is rain or shine with no refunds for cancellations after the jury date or for no-shows.
