Chasing Ghosts VI: Piercing the Veil through Remembrance, Legacy, & Beyond

Chasing Ghosts VI invites artists to submit work interpreting the theme of revealing the unseen through remembrance, legacy, and beyond. The term "ghost" may be interpreted in many ways and is not necessarily literal. Artists are encouraged to explore how current social, health, environmental, and political concerns may shadow or define their work, or how memory, legacy, and the past inform their artistic expression. All mediums and modes of expression are welcome, including 2D and 3D work in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital art, and sculpture.

This virtual exhibition will open in mid-October 2021 and run for four weeks. Selected artists will be featured on the Verum Ultimum Art Gallery website with an exhibition page and virtual viewing galleries showing work in scale. Artists will also be featured in online blog posts, with social media promotion continuing for five weeks. An exhibition book will be produced and retained in the Verum Ultimum library.

Submit 1-6 digital JPG images. Entry fee is $20.00 for the first image, with an additional $5.00 fee for each image over the minimum. Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Works may be offered for sale or marked as exhibition only (NFS). The gallery takes a 20% commission on sales and provides prepaid shipping labels. Artists retain all copyrights to their work.
