Chasing Ghosts II: Art that Pierces the Veil through remembrance, legacy, and beyond

Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon is accepting submissions for "Chasing Ghosts II: Art that Pierces the Veil through remembrance, legacy, and beyond." The competition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 60" in height or width.

Submit 1-3 digital JPG images of your work by August 30, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MDT via Café. The entry fee is $35.00. Artists will be notified of acceptance by September 28, 2017 via email. Accepted artwork must be received by October 16, 2017 and mailed to: Verum Ultimum, JG Cutshall, 3014 NE Ainsworth, Portland, OR 97211.

Selected artists will be featured in a group exhibition at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery with an opening reception on October 28th from 6-8 p.m. The exhibition will be posted on the gallery website, and one artist will be featured in an online blog post interview. All works in the show must be for sale; the gallery takes a 40 percent commission on sales. Artists retain all copyrights to their work.
