Chasing Ghosts: Art that Pierces the Veil through remembrance, legacy, and beyond

Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon is accepting submissions for "Chasing Ghosts: Art that Pierces the Veil through remembrance, legacy, and beyond," a group exhibition open to 2D and 3D artists working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 60" in height or width.

Submit 1-3 digital JPG images of your work with a $35.00 entry fee. The submission deadline is September 21, 2016. Artists will be notified of acceptance by October 1, 2016 via email. Accepted artwork must be received by October 20, 2016, or delivered in person on October 19th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Exhibition dates are to be determined.

Selected artists will be featured in a group exhibition at the gallery with an opening reception. The exhibition will be posted on the Verum Ultimum Gallery website, and one artist will be featured in an online blog post interview. All works must be for sale; the gallery takes a 40% commission on sales, with the artist determining the sale price. Artists retain all copyrights to their work.
