About This Call
Chase Gallery is the community exhibition space in the Spokane City Hall adjacent to the City Council Chambers. Four exhibitions will be presented in the 2014 season, working with both group and individual exhibitions. Most likely the exhibitions will be of a local or regional nature due to budget.
The artist reception is promoted as part of the downtown promotion, First Friday. The Exhibiting Committee of the Spokane Arts Commission provides the reception, promotional materials, and assistance with the installation. Artists are responsible for transportation of the work to and from the gallery.
The gallery space is carpeted and artwork cannot be suspended from the ceiling. There are a limited number of pedestals. Due to security constraints, jewelry and tiny objects are unlikely to be selected. Applicants must submit a minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 images.
