Changes

Changes is a juried exhibition featuring visual works about the many changes in our lives, environment, and thought processes. This international show welcomes artwork in the categories of painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, fiber, and photography. Themes can include personal changes such as seasonal, climate, social or economic, relationship, historic, or others.

The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and older. All work must be original in concept and not copied from another artist's work. Maximum size is 5 feet in any direction for both 2D and 3D works. No installations, artwork requiring special technical installation or intensive assembly, or performance-based work will be accepted. Entry fee is $35 for up to three art pieces. Entries are submitted online through Callforentry.org only, with a maximum of three works per artist. Judging results will be emailed by October 14, 2019. Accepted work will be exhibited at D'art Gallery in Denver, CO from November 14 – December 8, 2019.

Michael McClung, co-owner and Director of Michael Warren Contemporary Art in Denver, will serve as juror. One artist will receive a Best of Show cash prize of $100, announced on the opening date. Accepted artists are responsible for shipping and return shipping costs and insurance. Shipped work must use reusable shipping containers only, with no packing peanuts allowed. Hand delivery is available November 9-10, 2019, during business hours. All accepted artwork must be received by November 10, 2019 at 3:45 p.m. Any artwork sold will incur a 25% commission. Artwork left more than 30 days after the close of the exhibition will be considered abandoned and deemed the property of D'art Gallery unless prior written arrangements have been made.
