About This Call
LeMoyne's Annual Chain of Parks Art Festival is a multi-day Fine Art event that includes a two-day outdoor artist exhibit. The Festival has been ranked in the Top 100 Fine Art Festivals by Sunshine Artist Magazine for 11 straight years and accepts approximately 160 juried artists to participate, who qualify for cash awards of over $10,000. Held in a group of city parks known as the 'Chain of Parks' in downtown Tallahassee, Florida, the Chain of Parks Art Festival has been recognized as a Legacy Event by Visit Tallahassee due to the 40,000+ visitors and patrons it attracts.
The festival offers over $10,000 in cash awards including Best of Show ($2,000), Award of Excellence ($1,000), and additional category awards. Artists retain 100% of sales, with combined artist sales of over half a million dollars. Amenities include artist hospitality area with complimentary refreshments, welcome reception, quality event T-shirt, volunteer booth sitters, 24-hour on-site security, complimentary reserved parking, and limited RV parking. The festival features live music, theatrical entertainment, Children's Park with free crafts, and Community Corner with non-profit partners.
Application fee is $35 (non-refundable) with standard 11x11 booth fees at $375. Participation is determined by a 3-5-person blind jury evaluating work based on originality, concepts, execution and consistency of style & presentation. The festival is designed for exhibiting artists who create and execute their own original, professional quality art, with categories including Painting, Two-Dimensional Mixed Media, Drawing/Graphics/Printmaking/Photography, Jewelry, Three-Dimensional Media/Sculpture, and Heritage Art. All proceeds benefit LeMoyne Arts, a non-profit community-based art center.
