Center Theater Gallery 2025

Center for the Arts in Jackson, WY is seeking proposals from teams of two artists paired together or small artist teams for the Theater Gallery exhibition space. Two artists are invited to collaborate on one exhibit for a combined show, or two artists can exhibit work at the same time in the space. Small groups or teams are also accepted. The center is seeking new and fresh work that inspires creativity and sparks curiosity, including installations with interactive and experiential ways to transform the space for a unique user experience.

The Theater Gallery is an approximately 35-foot long transitional hallway from the theater to the education pavilion, with exhibition space on both walls. This is a high visibility, high traffic exhibition space, with more than 100,000 audience members of all ages attending events, classes and workshops on The Center campus every year. Six open slots are available for exhibitions lasting 6 weeks throughout 2025. This is a juried call, with selections based on excellence, contemporary vision, technical expertise, and suitability for the space. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.

Artists must provide 10-12 images and a short written proposal describing the overall concept. Eligibility is limited to artists residing in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Colorado. Entry deadline: 9/30/24 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
