Center Forward 2023

Center for Fine Art Photography seeks contemporary photography and photo-based work for an online exhibition. This open-theme call emphasizes creativity, content, and mastery and is open to photographers worldwide working in all photographic mediums, including digital, film, mixed, and unique processes.

Entry fee is $30 for four images for non-members ($15 for members). Additional images may be submitted for $5 each for non-members and $3 each for members, with no limit to the number of images submitted. Submissions must include 4-20 images. All submitting artists must own the copyright to their images. Entries are due August 13, 2023. Acceptance notifications will be sent September 5, 2023. The online exhibition runs September 6, 2023 through February 29, 2024, with a virtual reception and artist talks on October 12, 2023 from 5-6:30 PM MT.

Jurors are Hamidah Glasgow, Executive Director and Curator at The Center for Fine Art Photography, and Charles Guice, art advisor, curator, and co-founder of Converging Perspectives. Awards include two $250 Jurors Awards and Honorable Mentions. Ten selected exhibitors will receive virtual 20-minute reviews with a juror. All selected artists' work is included in the online exhibition, and the Center provides event press releases and social media promotions to an audience of 180,000+ followers internationally. Artists retain copyright to their images.
