Center for Photographic Art - 2020 International Juried Exhibition

The Center for Photographic Art announces the 2020 International Juried Exhibition with $5,000 in awards. Forty-five juror-selected photographs will be exhibited from November 14 through December 20 in the historic gallery in Carmel, California. These photographs will also be featured in an online gallery on the CPA website along with an additional forty-five juror-selected images. An exhibition catalog of the entire gallery and online exhibition will be available for purchase.

The exhibition is open to all living photographers worldwide over the age of 18, working in all still photographic media. There is no theme; any subject matter is eligible. Photographs accepted for previous CPA International Juried Exhibition gallery exhibitions are not eligible. Submissions must include 3 to 20 images. Early submission period (July 20 - August 21) costs $40 for CPA members or $60 for non-members for up to 3 images. Regular entry period (August 22 - September 15) costs $50 for CPA members or $70 for non-members for up to 3 images. Additional images cost $10 each. Selected artists will be notified by September 30, 2020. Framed artwork must be delivered to the gallery no later than November 1, 2020. Completed pieces must have the long dimension no larger than 30 inches, be glazed with acrylic (not glass), and weigh less than 10 pounds. The juror is Aline Smithson. Awards include First Place ($2,500), Second Place ($1,000), Third Place ($500), and four awards of merit ($250 each). Artwork returns will occur January 4-13, 2021.
