The submission period runs from July 24 through September 18, 2017.
Forty-five juror-selected photographs will be exhibited in CPA's historic gallery at Sunset Center in Carmel, California, with an additional forty-five images selected for an online gallery on the CPA website. An exhibition catalog will be available for purchase. The 2017 juror is Philip Brookman, Consulting Curator in the Department of Photographs at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Awards total $10,000: Best in Show ($4,000), Second Place ($2,500), Third Place ($1,000), and five awards of merit ($500 each).
