About This Call
The Center for Photographic Art invites submissions for the 2015 CPA Members' Juried Exhibition. The exhibition is open to all current CPA Members working in all still photographic media. There is no theme; any subject matter is eligible. You must be a current member of CPA in good standing to enter, or you may join and enter as a new member by paying the $65.00 entry fee, which includes both entry and membership.
Submit between 1 and 10 images. Image files should be 1920 pixels on the long dimension at 72 ppi, Adobe RGB 1998, with a maximum of 5MB per image. Entry fees are $65 for the first image and $10.00 for each additional image. The submission deadline is May 27, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The jurying period runs from May 28 to June 16, with artist notification on June 17, 2015.
Images selected by juror Richard Gadd (Director, Weston Gallery, Carmel, CA) will be exhibited in the CPA gallery at the Sunset Center in Carmel, CA, and featured in the 2015 Members' Exhibition catalog. Accepted work must arrive by July 17, 2015. Artwork must be ready-to-hang with the long dimension no larger than 30 inches, framed in matte black wooden or metal frames (1/2 to 3/4 inches wide), glazed with acrylic (no glass), matted with white mats, weighing less than 10 pounds, and include installed hanging hardware. Prints that do not meet requirements, arrive damaged, cannot be hung properly, or are deemed of poor quality will not be exhibited. While work is in CPA's possession, it will be insured for replacement cost. Liability for loss, damage, or theft is limited to replacement cost of materials.
