About This Call
National Association of Women Artists, Inc. invites NAWA Signature Members to submit work for "Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories," an exhibition running March 1–28, 2026 at Vanda Gallery.
Eligible media includes painting, collage, pastel, watercolor, photography, and mixed media (framed under plexiglass, 2" deep max including frame). Maximum size for framed work is 36" in any direction x 2" deep (including frame); sculpture is limited to 12" in any direction, with only four stands provided by the gallery. All work must be original, professionally ready for hanging (wired hangers only; no saw tooth hangers, French cleats, or corner hardware), and available for the duration of the exhibition. Digital work must include "digital" in the medium and description. Any use of AI assistance must include "AI assisted" attached to the medium. Work that has previously won a NAWA award is ineligible. Graphic violence and lewd sexual content are prohibited; nudes are acceptable at the committee's discretion.
All accepted works must be for sale and cannot be substituted. Price, title, and dimensions cannot be changed after submission. Submit high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge (maximum 30 MB file size). Images must show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background, and must be right-side-up. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted by the deadline of January 19, 2026. Awards include NAWA First, Second, and Third Place, plus two Honorable Mentions. For questions, contact [email protected].
