Celebrating the Eucharist

Holy Name Catholic Church invites 2D artists from around the country to participate in an exhibition featuring artwork representing the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Eucharist. Catholic artists are highly encouraged to participate, but all artists, regardless of religion, are welcome to submit. Artwork can be any representation (realism or abstract) of the Holy Eucharist and must be respectful. The exhibition opens on June 1, 2024, just days before the Eucharistic Procession reaches Steamboat Springs on June 4-5, 2024.

Eligibility: All artists 18 and over. Only original 2D artwork accepted—no prints, photography, or artificial intelligence-generated work. All artwork must be for sale. Framed artwork (outside dimensions) must not exceed 48" on any side and must be professionally mounted and framed with wire hangers only. Use Plexi or Plastic glazing instead of glass. Entry fee is $25.00. Submit 1-3 images (2-4 MB each, not exceeding 25 MB total) through Café-Call for Entry.

Artists will be notified of acceptance by May 4-8, 2024. Selected work must arrive presentation ready. Shipped work must be received by May 24, 2024, in reusable packaging with prepaid return label. In-person drop-off available May 22, 2024, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church Office, 504 Oak Street, Steamboat Springs. Work must remain on exhibit through June 29, 2024. Artists receive 80% of sale price; the venue receives 20%. Return shipping is at artist expense. Contact: [email protected]
