Celebrating Photography -- All Styles and Techniques

The MVA Gallery (Modern Visual Arts) invites photographers and photo collagists of all levels to participate in this national exhibition. There are no restrictions on subject matter, style, or technique. Photographers may use any equipment from professional devices to smartphones, and all photographic processes are welcome, including cyanotype, platinum, gum bichromate, gelatin silver, polaroid, digital, and image transfer. Subject matter may include landscapes, abstracts, travel, cityscapes, animals, events, portraits, and surreal or personal visual creations. Mixed media and collages with photographic elements will be considered.

Artwork must not exceed 48 inches on the longest side and should be professionally finished and ready for secure installation, equipped with stretched wire attached to the back. Photographs should be framed if a traditional presentation is desired; black or white frames are preferred, with white or off-white mats only. All submitted images must be JPEG format, under 5 MB, with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side. Include title, medium, size, price, and year of completion with your submission.

Entry fee is $35.00 for 3 images, with additional images available for $5.00 each up to a maximum of 9 images. The entry deadline is November 16, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Artists will be notified on or about November 21, 2025. Accepted artwork must arrive by February 20, 2026, with the exhibition running February 25 - March 25, 2026. Awards include an "Art of Distinction" Award, an annual Grand Prize offering a New York City exhibition opportunity, and an optional Director's Choice Award of $200.
