Celebrating Our Holidays

6th Street Studios & Art Center invites artists to celebrate the holidays with an exhibition open to all artists. The show encourages celebration of all holidays, all traditions, or depictions of meaningful moments or thoughts about the holiday season, inclusive of the good, the bad and the ugly of the holiday season. All mediums are accepted, but work must be portrayed via photograph as online exhibitions do not support video.

The online exhibition is open to all artists. Those interested in showing work at the physical location must drop off their work; shipping is not permitted. Works can be for sale, with the gallery charging a 15% commission on sold works. Commissions are paid out on the 15th day of the following month of the exhibition. If work is for sale, a price must accompany the entry; otherwise the work will be marked as NFS.

Submission deadline: 11/30/2022. Jury dates: 12/1-12/2. Acceptance notification: 12/2-12/4. Drop-off: 12/3, 12-6pm at Gallery 1202, 7363 Monterey Street, Gilroy, CA 95020. Show dates: 12/6-12/31. Pick-up: 1/7/2023, 12-6pm at 7363 Monterey Street, Gilroy, CA 95020. Entry fee: $25.00. Media fee: $5.00. Submit 1-5 images. Juried by Director Emily McEwan-Upright.
