Celebrate! Abstract

Southern California Women's Caucus for Art will present a member-only exhibition at the Beverly Hills Art Show on October 18 & 19, 2025, at Beverly Gardens Park along Santa Monica Boulevard (Booth #2 between Beverly Drive and Canon Drive). This exhibition features abstract art that emphasizes shapes, colors, lines, and forms rather than direct representation of the visible world.

Eligibility is limited to self-identified women artists who are members of the Southern California Women's Caucus for Art. To join, visit www.nationalwca.org and select CAS as your chapter. Artists may submit one original 2D or 3D artwork as a high-resolution JPEG (1-5MB). 2D work must not exceed 36 inches high by 24 inches wide including frame. The base of 3D work must be no wider than 24 inches, and free-standing 3D pieces will be displayed on tables without pedestals. AI-generated work, video, installation, and performance works are not accepted. The entry fee is $20 (non-refundable). Submission deadline is Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Acceptance notices will be sent Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Artists must hand-deliver work on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 10 a.m. to Beverly Gardens Park. All artwork must be for sale and ready to hang with appropriate wire and hardware (no saw-tooth or clips). Plexiglass must be used on framed artwork; glass is not permitted. Sales will be handled on-site with 80% going to the artist and 20% to the SCWCA Community Fund. Artwork pickup is Sunday, October 19 at 6 p.m. No insurance is provided; artists are advised to insure their work. SCWCA and Beverly Hills Art Show may use images of artwork for publicity, educational, and archival purposes.
