Cedarhurst Art & Craft Fair 2025

The Cedarhurst Art & Craft Fair, a southern Illinois tradition, is celebrating its 49th year! Join us the weekend after Labor Day Sept. 5 (5pm to dusk/ 7:30pm) and Sept. 6 & 7 (10am to 5pm) on the picturesque grounds at Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, where the Fair attracts approximately 6,000 visitors. Our Fair is supported by the City of Mt. Vernon, Mt. Vernon Tourism, plus regional, enthusiastic communities. Our jury committee is looking for quality artisans in a variety of mediums. In addition to traditional artists and crafters, we welcome applications from "indie" crafters, and those with a unique or unconventional sense of aesthetics. Continuing this year - returning artists are invited to participate in a referral program and receive $50 off their booth fee.

The fair features 13 cash awards totaling $7,000 and a recognition dinner. Artist amenities include onsite assigned parking, load and unload at booth site, security from 5 p.m. Friday through 5 pm Sunday, complimentary pizza Friday before the 5 pm public opening, complimentary coffee and donuts Saturday and Sunday morning, booth sitters by Cedarhurst volunteers, portable restroom unit with running water & air conditioning, information booth, and mobile medical unit with qualified personnel. In addition to shopping the art booths, the weekend festival features food vendors, beer tent, live music, and a Kid Zone with make-and-take crafts and family-friendly entertainment.

Booth spaces and fees are: 15' wide x 10' deep $280 plus $25 if needing electricity (Total $305), 30' wide x 10' deep $555 plus $25 if needing electricity (Total $580), 45' wide x 10' deep $830 plus $25 if needing electricity (Total $855). Only 60 booths can have electricity; availability is "first come, first served." Set up time is Friday, September 5, 2025, 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Only artists and crafters selling their own original works are eligible to participate. All work must be the artist's original work; kits, commercial molds/fabricated forms, imports or mass produced items are not allowed.
