CASA Exhibition Call

CASA is accepting submissions for an exhibition of original artwork. Members can submit up to 5 works for a $35 entry fee. Eligible media include oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, collage, and mixed media. Giclées, photography, computer-generated images, crafts, work done under instruction, and previously exhibited works are not eligible. Submitted artwork must not be more than 2 years old.

Selected artwork must be framed, wired, and ready to hang (no saw-tooth hangers or magnets). Gallery wrap canvases are permitted. Artwork must be available for the duration of the exhibition. Artists are required to submit digital images and entries online via ShowSubmit; submissions via email or mail will not be accepted. Images must be high-quality JPEG files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should show only the artwork itself without matting, frames, or background distractions, and must be oriented correctly.

Entrants are encouraged to price their work for sale; NFS is allowed. The JCC charges a 35% commission on sales and will mail artists a check for 65% of the sale price.
