Cary Photographic Artists 5th Annual Open Digital Exhibit

Cary Photographic Artists invites photographers to submit digital images for their 5th Annual Open Digital Exhibit. This national competition is open to digital photographic images only. Entries must be the original, individual work of the entrant. While use of AI editing tools such as Adobe's Generative Expand and Generative Remove are acceptable, no AI generated images will be accepted. Work accepted into prior CPA juried print or digital exhibitions is not permitted. To ensure anonymity during judging, no identifying information, including copyright information or watermarks, may appear on the image.

Submit 1-3 images through CaFE with a $40 entry fee. Registration and fee payment are accepted March 1 through April 15, 2025. Images will be judged in two categories: COLOR and MONOCHROME. Fifty images will be selected by the jurors for display in an Exhibitors' Gallery on the Cary Photographic Artists website beginning May 10, 2025. Artists will be notified by email on April 28, 2025. An online awards ceremony with jurors' comments will be held at 7:00pm on May 8, 2025, with login information provided by email on May 5, 2025.

Awards include Burnette Blakely Best in Show ($300), First Place ($200), Second Place ($150), and Third Place ($100) in both Color and Monochrome categories. Three Honorable Mentions will be selected from each category. Photographers whose images receive awards must provide a 100-word biography by May 5, 2025. Entry fees are non-refundable.
