Cary Photographic Artists 15th Annual Open Juried Photographic Exhibit

Cary Photographic Artists announces its 15th Annual Open Juried Photographic Exhibit. This competition is open to all photographers over the age of 18. Artists may submit up to three entries in any combination of color and monochrome categories. Entry fee is $40.00 for up to three images, submitted through CaFE by October 20, 2022.

Judging will be conducted on mounted and framed prints only. Any photographic process is acceptable as long as it is dominant; canvas wraps and prints on wood, metal, foam core, or other surfaces are acceptable. Framed image size cannot exceed 33 inches on the longest edge. Work accepted into prior CPA Juried Exhibitions is not permitted. Prints must be delivered to the Cary Senior Center, 120 Maury Odell Place, Bond Park (off High House Road), Cary NC 27513 between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Monday, October 24, 2022. There is no on-site registration on delivery day.

Fifty mounted and framed juried images will be exhibited October 28 through December 16, 2022 at the Cary Senior Center. Artists will be notified by phone on the evening of Tuesday, October 25, 2022 if their images are accepted. A reception with juror comments and awards presentation will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 28, 2022. Awards include Best in Show ($400) and category prizes for monochrome and color: First Place ($200), Second Place ($125), Third Place ($75), and three honorable mentions in each category. Winning entrants must supply a 1200 x 800 pixel jpeg image for the CPA website. Entry fees are non-refundable.
