Cary Photographic Artists 14th Annual Open Juried Photographic Exhibit

Cary Photographic Artists announces its 14th Annual Open Juried Photographic Exhibit. The exhibit will run October 29, 2021 through December 17, 2021 at the Cary Senior Center, 120 Maury Odell Place, Bond Park (off High House Road), Cary NC 27513.

The competition is open to all photographers over the age of 18 and features two categories: Monochrome and Color. Entrants may submit up to three photographic prints. Entry fee is $40.00. Images must be submitted through CaFE in JPG or jpeg format, sRGB colorspace, minimum 4000 pixels on the longest side, and no larger than 5MB. Any photographic process may be used as long as the photographic process is dominant. Canvas wraps and prints on wood, metal, foam core, or other surfaces are acceptable. Framed image size cannot exceed 33 inches on the longest edge. Work accepted into prior CPA Juried Exhibitions is not permitted.

Prints must be delivered to the Cary Senior Center between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm on October 27, 2021. Artists will be notified by phone the evening of October 28, 2021 if their images are accepted. Images not accepted must be picked up on October 29, 2021 between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. A reception with juror comments and awards presentation will be held at 6:00 pm on November 12, 2021. The exhibit typically draws about 300 images with 50 selected for display.
