Carolinas Rehab Art Gallery

Carolinas Rehab Art Gallery seeks local and regional artists from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to submit work for a newly renovated, high-traffic gallery space in a busy hospital lobby connecting to a flagship hospital on a 4 million square foot campus. Every three months the gallery will be filled with new art selected by an Atrium Health committee. Selected artists will be able to display 3 pieces of art. The gallery has wall space for paintings and cabinet space for small sculpture, pottery, jewelry, and other works.

The committee seeks art that creates a positive and welcome distraction for patients and visitors. Works of hope and resilience are encouraged, and artists with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Proposals should inspire positive reflection with a focus on community, health, hope, and healing. Original, unexpected, and unconventional interpretations are welcome. Accepted media include painting, drawing, photography, collage/mixed media, glass, pottery, small sculpture, and jewelry.

Submit clear images of 3-5 pieces for consideration, including your name, brief bio, sizes, and prices of each work. Submissions are accepted throughout the year on a rotating quarterly schedule: 1st Quarter (November 15-January 1), 2nd Quarter (February 15-April 1), 3rd Quarter (May 15-July 1), and 4th Quarter (August 15-October 1). Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old and reside, attend school, or work in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia.
