Carmel International Arts Festival 2026

The 29th Annual Carmel International Arts Festival will be held September 26 & 27, 2026 in Carmel, Indiana at the intersection of Main Street and Rangeline Road in the Arts & Design District. This juried exhibition attracts approximately 24,000 festival visitors annually and offers an admission-free opportunity to view and purchase art, meet artists, tour local galleries, and enjoy entertainment on multiple stages. The festival awards $7,000 in total prize money.

Artists must supply or rent a 10' x 10' tent with weights. All artwork must be contained within the booth space, and awnings extending outside the booth are not permitted. Artists must bring their own display equipment including tables and chairs. Electricity is available for $100 if requested by August 16, 2026, or $125 if requested after August 17, 2026, with a maximum of 600 watts permitted per booth. Booth spaces are assigned with returning artists receiving priority on a seniority system.

Application and jury fee is $40 (non-refundable), with a booth fee of $450. Corner booths ($125 additional) and double booths ($450 additional) are available. All work must be original and completed within the last two years. Signed and numbered prints, offset lithographs, and giclees are permitted but cannot comprise more than 50% of displayed work (this restriction does not apply to photography). Artists must submit four digital images for jury consideration: three of individual pieces and one of a booth display. Judging begins at 10:30 AM on Saturday, with awards announced upon completion. Award winners receive an invitation to exhibit jury-exempt the following year. Notification of acceptance or waitlist status will be sent by July 12, 2026, with payment deadline of August 16, 2026.
