About This Call
Caring With Colors is a mission-driven organization uniting the creative spirit to enhance beauty and promote hope and healing during the cancer journey. Founded by breast cancer survivors Deb Drager and Lynn Bandyk, with support from interior designer Pat Peppard, the organization hosts fundraising events, produces art products and merchandise, and provides educational experiences to support cancer research and families affected by cancer.
The 1st Annual Caring With Colors Art event, show, and auction will be held at Loft at 420 in the Wichita Kansas Art District. The organization aims to place original art in healing environments including hospitals, cancer centers, and oncology offices, and to offer creative workshops for those in treatment to create while they heal.
Entry fee is $20.00, with an additional $5.00 media fee per image. Applicants must submit 1-10 images. The entry deadline is August 20, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
