About This Call
The Capitola Art & Wine Festival is hosted and organized by the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce in Capitola Village. The festival draws thousands for a weekend of fine art, local wine, delicious food, and lively entertainment. The festival serves as a major fundraiser supporting the Capitola-Soquel Chamber, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization, along with local schools and community groups.
Artists must submit 5 digital images (a booth shot is required) with a $40 non-refundable application fee per category. Up to 2 applications may be submitted. Accepted booth space fees are $450 for a single booth and $900 for a double booth, with an additional $100 fee for a gap space. A 10% commission on gross sales must be paid to the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce by October 1, 2026. Artists must be present both Saturday and Sunday during festival hours.
Exhibited work must be the original creation of the applicant(s). No production work is allowed. The artwork displayed must be similar in type and style to the digital images submitted. Artists are responsible for obtaining a valid California resale permit. The application deadline is May 1, 2026, with jury selection occurring May 12-26, 2026 and notification on June 1, 2026. The festival runs September 12-13, 2026. Exhibitors may withdraw until July 1, 2026 for a full refund, or by July 31, 2026 for a 50% refund.
