Capital Art and Craft Festival – Winter 2025

The Capital Art and Craft Festival is a juried festival held indoors at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA. The festival draws buyers from Virginia, Maryland, DC, West Virginia and beyond. Participation is open to artists who handmake art and craft. Only creators of the art/craft should apply; buy/sell, items made from kits, and mass-produced items are not accepted. If an artist is found to be not in compliance during set-up or the festival, they will be required to close their booth and leave with no refund.

Accepted categories include: Clothing/Textiles/Fiber Wearables, Textiles/Fiber Non-wearables, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting and Prints, Photography, Pottery/Clay, Printmaking, Wood, Apothecary, and Specialty Food and Beverage. All work must be original and handmade by the artist. Exhibited work must be consistent with work submitted and accepted in the application.

Booth spaces are available in three sizes: 10' x 10' for $690, 10' x 15' for $995, and 10' x 20' for $1,300. Corner fees are an additional $150. Applications open January 13, 2025, with jury deliberation beginning in March 2025 (rolling jury until full). Invitations to participate will be sent in April 2025. Booth assignments will be sent in July 2025, with a 50% deposit due upon invoicing and the balance due by September 12, 2025. Deposits are fully refundable if requested by September 12, 2025; cancellations after that date are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. The festival takes place December 11-14, 2025, with artist set-up on December 11 from 9am-7pm. Artist amenities include 50 complimentary customer tickets, personalized promotional materials, booth sitters for breaks, porter services, discounted hotel rates, and free parking.
