About This Call
Due to the venue, the Dulles Expo Center, where we hold the Capital Art and Craft Festival closing at the end of 2025, we are putting our 2026 festivals on hold until we secure another location and dates. Capital Art and Craft Festivals are produced by SPARGO, Inc., the largest, independently owned, full-service event management company in the United States with over 52 years of experience. Our focus is on producing artist-friendly festivals which bring art/craft buyers and our artists together.
Participation in this juried event is open to Artists and Craftsmen who handmake quality Art and Craft. Artists must be present for the entire festival. Pet accessories, buy/sell, imported items, production work, made by a group/village, kits, or mass-produced items are not accepted. Categories include Clothing/Textiles/Fiber Wearables, Textiles/Fiber Non-wearables, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting and Prints, Photography, Pottery/Clay, Printmaking, Wood, Specialty Food and Beverage, and Apothecary. The work represented in your applied images and display image must represent the work shown at the festival.
Booth spaces are available in 10' x 10' ($690), 10' x 15' ($995), and 10' x 20' ($1300) sizes, with corner fees of $150. Multiple booths may be combined into larger spaces. A one-time $35 jury fee covers all 2026 Capital Art and Craft Festivals. Artist amenities include personalized promotional postcards, social media graphics, full day for set up, 50 free tickets and unlimited $2 off ticket code, printed Artist Directory and Shopping Guide, storage space behind every booth, booth sitters for breaks, porter services for move-in/out, discounted hotel rates, and free parking. Artists retain 100% of their sales and are responsible for collecting and reporting applicable sales taxes.
