Capital Art and Craft Festival – Fall 2025

The Capital Art and Craft Festival is a juried festival held indoors at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA. The festival draws buyers from Virginia, Maryland, DC, West Virginia and beyond. Festival dates are October 9-12, 2025, with artist setup on Thursday, October 9 from 9am-7pm.

Participation is open to artists who handmake art and craft. Pet accessories, buy/sell items, kits, and mass-produced items are not accepted. Categories include Clothing/Textiles/Fiber Wearables, Textiles/Fiber Non-wearables, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting and Prints, Photography, Pottery/Clay, Printmaking, Wood, Apothecary, and Specialty Food and Beverage. The work represented in application images must match the work displayed at the festival. Booth spaces available are 10'x10' ($690), 10'x15' ($995), and 10'x20' ($1300), with corner fees of $150. A $35 jury fee is required with application. Selected artists receive an invitation letter and must accept to secure their space. A 50% deposit is due in May 2025, with the balance due by July 11, 2025. Deposits are fully refundable if requested by July 11, 2025. Cancellations made after July 11, 2025 are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

Artist amenities include 50 complimentary customer tickets, personalized promotional postcards and digital materials, a printed Artist Directory and Shopping Guide, booth sitters for breaks, porter services, discounted hotel rates, and free parking. Artists retain 100% of sales and are responsible for collecting applicable sales taxes. Artists must be present at their booth during all open hours and may not leave prior to the end of the show. All booths must be professional and aesthetically pleasing with two side walls and a back wall minimum of 8'. Tent tops and ceiling coverings are not permitted. Electrical and Internet/Telephone services are available for additional fees through the Dulles Expo Center.
