About This Call
This May 2019 exhibition is themed around candy. The opening reception will be held on May 10th from 5-9 pm, and the show runs through June 8th. The reception will feature live music by local Kansas City artists, artisanal candy refreshments, and beer from Stockyards Brewing Co.
All artwork must be original and available for sale. No reproductions will be accepted. Any 2D artwork must be framed, wired, and ready for installation. Work samples should include 1-10 images, and may optionally include up to 1 audio file and 1 video file. The entry fee is $20.00. Artists will be notified of acceptance by April 23rd.
Accepted artwork must be dropped off during gallery hours on Saturday, May 4th (11 am-3 pm) or Tuesday, May 7th (1-5 pm). If neither time works, contact the gallery to arrange other arrangements. Artists must pick up work on Saturday, June 8th (11 am-3 pm) or Tuesday, June 11th (1-5 pm). Artists are responsible for insuring their work during the show and shipping. If shipping work, include a return label in the package; the gallery is not responsible for return shipping arrangements.
