CAM Biennial 2024

All Oregon artists are invited to participate in CAM Biennial 2024, held at Coos Art Museum from October 11 through December 29, 2024. This exhibition provides artists residing in Oregon the opportunity to exhibit their works to the public within an Art Museum without an extensive jury process. The exhibition will be displayed throughout all Coos Art Museum galleries.

Eligible artists must be 18 years or older and reside in Oregon. Original works of art created between 2019 and 2024 are eligible. No commercial artwork or reproductions are accepted. Eligible mediums include paintings, drawings, hand-pulled prints, etchings, serigraphs, photography, mixed media, fiber and textiles, small sculptures, glass, turned and carved wood, jewelry (if all elements were created by the artist), and furniture. All work must be limited to 48 inches in any direction (including frame or mounting device), with sculptures limited to 50 lbs. Video, motion picture film, audio, computer-generated digital artworks, and giclée prints are not eligible. One submission per artist is allowed, with 1-3 images required. The entry fee is $20.

Artwork delivery is October 2-5, 2024 (12pm-4pm daily). All wall art must arrive ready for hanging with well-anchored, substantial wires. Wearable art must include a display device. All accepted works must remain on display through December 29, 2024. One artist will be selected as the People's Choice Award winner by museum visitor votes and will receive a solo exhibition at CAM in 2025. The winner will be notified during the first week of January 2025 and must submit an exhibition proposal by March 31, 2025. Artwork pickup is January 2-5, 2025 (12pm-4pm daily).
