Call to Artists for Exhibits in 2027-2029

Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens, founded in 1946, invites artists to submit work for exhibitions in 2027-2029. The museum hosts several exhibitions each year featuring work in a variety of mediums by national and international artists. In May 2022, the museum building reopened after an 18-month renovation and expansion project, offering a larger classroom, more exhibition space, dedicated meeting/office areas, and a rooftop terrace overlooking its 2.5-acre gardens.

Exhibition at OMAM is open to any artist or collaborative of artists submitting original works of art or design created within the past three years. Professionals in all disciplines are encouraged to submit, including traditional drawing, painting, printmaking, digital/new media, photography, sculpture, glass, installation, and other media. Giclee prints and reproductions are not accepted. All 2D work must include suitable hanging mechanisms and either be framed or created on gallery wrapped canvas.

Submission materials must be received via Café by April 30, 2026. Entries must include 5-10 images of representative work (labeled as FirstnameLastname_Title_Dimensions_Medium.jpg), an image list with titles, sizes, and medium, an artist statement, and a resume. The OMAM exhibition selection committee meets annually to select artists for future shows. Selected artists will be notified by email and will work with OMAM's Curator to select specific pieces for exhibition closer to their exhibition date.
