Call to Artists: City of Corvallis Parks Maintenance Facility Public Art Project

In partnership with the City of Corvallis Parks & Recreation Department, The Arts Center is requesting qualifications from artists interested in creating a site-responsive public artwork for a new Parks Maintenance Facility located within Avery Park. This 1% for Art opportunity invites artists to develop work that engages with the surrounding landscape and reflects the relationship between people, place, and the systems that sustain public spaces. The selected artwork will be integrated into a highly active park environment, experienced by both visitors and Parks & Recreation staff. The project offers a unique opportunity to create work that speaks to themes of stewardship, care, and the often-unseen labor that supports shared community spaces.
