Call Me When You Get Over The Bridge!

"Call Me When You Get Over The Bridge!" is a call for two-dimensional art in any media. This exhibition explores the emotions and images evoked by the statement commonly shared among those traveling to Cape Cod. Artwork size is limited to 16" x 20". The exhibition will be hosted in the Guyer Barn at the Cultural Center's HyArts Programming Annex in Hyannis, MA, running from June 5 to August 31, 2024.

This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work must have been produced within the last five years, and all styles and aesthetics are considered. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Content should be appropriate for all viewers. Artists may submit up to 20 works, with 1-20 images and 0-6 videos per submission. Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.

JPEGs are due by May 18, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of acceptance will be sent by May 20, 2024. Local drop-off of work is Monday, June 3, 2024. Work being shipped must arrive by June 1, 2024. All images must be in JPEG or JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Framed work must be fitted firmly in frame with wire for hanging; gallery wrapped canvases are permitted. The artist is responsible for shipping costs to and from the gallery and must provide pre-paid return labels. Works not picked up by September 2, 2024 become property of the Center. The Cultural Center charges a 30% commission on sales for members and 40% for non-members.
