About This Call
Halifax Regional Municipality is seeking artist-led proposals for the creation of hanging indoor installations as part of the new Beechville Lakeside Timberlea Community Centre. The new community centre is located near the historic African Nova Scotian community of Beechville. We are prioritizing submissions with established ties to one or more of the 52+ historic African Nova Scotian communities, while also encouraging submissions from artists of African descent across the wider community.
