Call for Proposals from Individual Artists July-December 2009

DIVA invites individual artists working in any visual medium to submit exhibit proposals for July 2009 through December 2009. Individuals living in Oregon, or proposals that are significant to Oregon, are eligible to apply. This may include traveling exhibits that are understood to culturally enrich and/or inform the local community. DIVA welcomes a variety of proposals including installation, multi-media, time-based, performance, or other creative uses of six individual gallery spaces.

Applications must be submitted online through CaFÉ by 11:59 p.m. MST on March 3, 2009. Physical submissions will not be accepted. Five still images of your work are required with your proposal. Initial notification will be made by email by April 6, 2009.

Proposals should include: project name/title, project description, artist's statement, project medium/discipline, estimated number of works, materials used, method of preparation for exhibit, dimensions of work (on average), expectations of DIVA for installation support, and for new work proposals, how past work relates to the proposed exhibit.
