Call for Mixed Media Works with Photographic Elements

The Pollinator Art Space, located in the Goat Farm Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking two and three dimensional mixed media artworks that contain a photographic image or element. This includes multi-layered printmaking with screen prints from photographs, photo transfers, cyanotypes, photo gravures, or actual photos applied in collages. Paintings on paper or canvas incorporating photo-based techniques, ceramics with photo transfers, and sculptures with photographic elements attached or embedded are all welcome. If your starting media is photography, it must be altered to include other media. Collage with only photographs will not qualify, but photo collages that include painting, drawing, or applied printmaking prints would qualify.

The exhibition is juried by Nicole Lampl, Curator of American Art at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art. Entry fee is $25 for up to four works. The gallery offers a reduced commission rate of 15% for all sales. Framing is not required for works on paper if not too heavy with embellishments, as the gallery can hang with magnets. Framed artwork must have a hanging wire or French cleat system with a wall cleat. Artists are responsible for delivery to and from the gallery.

Deadline to submit: April 24, 2026, 11:59 pm. Notification of acceptance: April 28, 2026. Artwork delivery: drop off May 9 and 11, or ship to arrive by May 11. Exhibition dates: May 14 to June 28, 2026 (may be extended). Opening reception: Thursday, May 14, 6-9pm. Unsold artwork pickup: June 27-29, 11am-3pm; mailed artwork will be shipped by July 1. Note: As of February 11, the gallery has a schedule variable that may lead to deadlines and dates being extended 2-3 weeks. Updates will be provided by April 1.
