Call for Graphic Artist, Logo for 10th Street Emerging Cultural District

The East 10th Street Emerging Cultural District steering committee is seeking an artist to use gathered community feedback to create a logo and light brand for the district. We have conducted research through multiple community input events and surveys and have a few ideas about our identity, themes, and imagery. This process will include creating three low-fidelity concepts for neighbors to vote on, and then completion of a high-fidelity design of the finalist. The finished product will need to be compatible with a wide range of digital uses as well as usable on print banners for the district. This is a community-based effort and an artist from the Near Eastside or within Indianapolis is strongly preferred but not required. The East 10th Street Emerging Cultural District is a partnership effort between Little Flower Neighborhood Association, Grace Tuxedo-Park Neighborhood Association, and Emerson Heights Community Organization. It is being funded by a grant from the City of Indianapolis.
