About This Call
The Boston Society for Architecture will present the second annual BSA Auction Fundraiser on Thursday, May 7, at BSA Space. The event brings together hundreds of architecture and design professionals and enthusiasts for an evening of art, networking, and fundraising. Proceeds from the auction and cocktail party support the BSA's mission to build a better Boston.
The BSA is accepting submissions of up to three items per artist for consideration by a jury consisting of architects, curators, and scholars. Submissions must be received online by February 14, 2020. A suggested monetary value should be proposed for each item; items selected without a suggested value will be assigned one by the jury, with jury decisions being final. Accepted donors will receive one complimentary ticket to the auction. Jury decisions will be shared by March 20, 2020. Once accepted, all work becomes a gift to the BSA Foundation. Accepted items must be hand delivered in person or shipped via a professional shipping company to the BSA between March 30 and April 17. All donors will be notified of the sale of their artwork by May 15, 2020. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
