Call for Artists: the International Exhibition “Drawing Now 2026”

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the International Exhibition "Drawing Now 2026." The museum accepts digital drawings, animated/moving drawings, video documentation of drawing performance, interactive drawings, drawings on paper and mixed media, physical prints, and three-dimensional drawings.

Submission categories include: 2D Digital Drawings; Animated or Moving Drawings/Documentations of Drawing Performances; and Drawings on Paper and Mixed Media/Physical Prints/3 Dimensional Drawings (Physical Works). For 2D digital drawings, selected works will be printed on A3 (297 x 420 mm) foam poster board and installed by curators and assistants. Artists may request different sizes and framing, with additional fees applying. For animated/moving drawings and video documentation, the museum will provide projectors and media players. Multiple single-channel works will be screened through a projector. For physical works, artists are responsible for shipment and delivery costs. Two-dimensional works should not exceed 39 inches (1 m) on the longest side, and installation pieces should not exceed 39x39x79 inches (1 x 1 x 2 m). Wall-mounted works should not exceed 10 kg. Artists may indicate interest in exhibiting works exceeding size and weight limits in their submission email.
